The New Synagogue
of Oakhurst

A Sephardic home for tefillah, Torah, and community — building a makom kadosh for generations to come.

Welcome

A growing kehillah in the heart of Deal

What began in 1978 with twelve men in a red schoolhouse has grown into a thriving Sephardic congregation — and a community that has outgrown its beloved home. Now, under the leadership of Rabbi Ike Hanon, we are building a new shul: a 400-seat sanctuary, a bet midrash for daily learning, and gathering spaces to serve our families for decades to come.
